Janissary Ahmet Aga Mansion
Taurus cedar (Turpentine Tree and Arceuthos Drupacea) was used in these structures. Although, stone wall seems to be the main bearer, structure is born by its wooden frame. As, ends of the beams exceeding the walls seem like buttons (Pişduvan), these houses are called “Düğmeli Ev” (Buttoned House).
